Our goal in creating this experience was to make it so that the only thing you have to initiate is clicking the "Book A Photoshoot" button. We will guide you through the rest. From the first time you inquire with us to the day of the shoot, we guide you step-by-step through the process.
We have structured our portrait experience very intentionally with homeschooling families in mind. Every thing we offer and recommend is a strategic part of an overall experience that leads to what our KP families ultimately desire: genuine, beautiful, and affordable images that don't make them feel awkward.
the Kian experience:
We wanted you to be able to choose a location that fits your style without having to start from scratch. When you reach out to us, we give you some photography-approved location suggestions to choose from so you don't have to do the hunting.
(Mini sessions are at a pre-determined location.)

Before you even start thinking about putting together outfits, our style guide walks you through how to flatter each member of your family and easily put together seamless, cohesive family outfits for your photoshoot with ideas you most likely wouldn't think of and suggestions to elevate your entire shoot.
2 | Receive a Complimentary Style Guide
Starting 2 hours before sunset or directly at sunrise up until 2 hours after. You'll get both of us as photographers so every moment and angle will be documented. You will have the option to upgrade to a photo album or wall art. This package may be used for a couple session, (engagement, anniversary, maternity, or simply date night) a family session, a senior session, or newborns.

It went so much better than I could have imagined. Usually I’ll get nervous about posing, since I never know what to do and it can be awkward, but I already knew you were amazing with that, so I wasn’t worried. It was so peaceful, super chill and just fun! I LOVED the photos!! I’m pretty sure they couldn’t have turned out better!!!! You won’t regret working with Kina and Ian, because they are the kindest and sweetest people. You can’t help but feel joyful and honestly beautiful when working with them. The way Kina is so exuberant while taking pictures is so amazing and she just makes me smile with how sweet she is. It was such a fun experience. I felt so carefree and also felt confident in who I was. I also love how Kina has conversation as she's taking pictures, it’s really nice that she try tries to connect well with her clients. She's also super good at direction and telling people how to pose!

The timing is up to you, but we usually recommend around the 32 week mark. This does not mean you inquire at 32 weeks, this means we shoot the session at around 32 weeks. The closest we have ever shot a maternity session is 12 days before the due date. :)
When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?
One of the first things we send you when you book a session is a guide that guides you through how to put together the best outfit(s) for your session with us. We teamed up with a color analyst and professional stylist who helped us create the guide so you can have the best experience possible.
What do we wear to our photoshoot?
On the questionnaire we send you, there will be an option for you to choose a location category. And then within that category, we can find the one that is the most convenient for both of us.
Can we pick our own location?
We always deliver all the edited digital files to you via an online gallery delivery service. We also encourage and offer prints and photo albums which we design and print for you at a photographers-only lab.
How will we receive the photos?
Within the first week, we will post sneak peeks. Within three weeks, you can expect to receive the full gallery from us with all your images. Please give a little bit more grace and patience for the busy season, galleries may take a little bit longer then!
